Betting on the next Spurs manager – what to consider?

Whilst Jose Mourinho was sacked almost one month ago and Ryan Mason was placed in temporary charge, Tottenham Hotspur have had to be on the lookout for a new manager.

In truth, sacking Mourinho when they did was considered to be rather strange at the time as they were days away from competing in the EFL League Cup final – having been beaten by Manchester City – whilst it was just hours after the European Super League announcement that had briefly rocked the whole football community.

Nonetheless, it was revealed that Mourinho’s sacking was down to results and to say that they have improved would be wrong, as Mason’s side have continued to find it hard to gather any momentum, with them seriously looking in danger of not achieving European football next season.

If they do not manage to do this, then they could be in trouble in trying to acquire the manager that they want to try and take them forward.

Julain Naglesmann – who will now join Bayern Munich – was allegedly considered, as was Ajax’s Erik ten Hag, but he has since signed an extension to his deal in Amsterdam.

So, what should bettors who are looking to place a bet on who Spurs’ next manager look to consider when making a wager?

The first thing is to find a sportsbook that will allow for them to place the bet initially, as not all sportsbooks will have the market available. Indeed, although some sportsbooks will pride themselves on being the best, it is certainly worth checking them out first.

In addition to checking out the sportsbook, it is worth checking if bonuses such as the Betiton sign up offer, for example, can be used to further enhance the wager being placed. For example, specialised bonuses can mean more can be won when the right prediction has been made.

It would also be worth doing some research on all of the latest news stories to have broken regarding the subject, with trusted and reputable journalists being followed on social media networks always being beneficial at times.

Indeed, there have been a number of top managerial candidates to have been rumoured with the job at the New Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in recent weeks, with Rafa Benitez, Scott Parker, Maurizio Sarri, Ralf Rangnick, Brendan Rodgers, Massimiliano Allegri, Steven Gerrard and Spurs’ own, Ledley King all in the running.

Of course, Tottenham will likely leave it until the end of the season and stick with Mason for now, but depending on where they finish the Premier League season, some of those managers might end up being unrealistic targets.
