Three Exciting players to watch in the Premier League

With the summer transfer window still out in the open, there are bound to club keen in strengthening up their team for the season, with the hopes of making a successful title challenge this 2020/21 campaign.

With the opening of the transfer market, we’ve seen several clubs confirm the signing of one talented player of the other while some are selling off their players to clear out funds to reduce the impact of the Coronavirus on their financial status.

While there have been newcomers in the Premier League, there are also players that have left the English Top Flight to gain more experience in their football career. In today’s article, we’ll be looking at the three most exciting players to watch out for in the 2020/21 Premier League campaign.

James Rodriguez

If you’ve been a football fan for a while, you would have probably heard the Columbian attacking midfielder, who won the Golden Boot in the 2014 FIFA World Cup despite being eliminated in the quarter-finals of the tournament which led him to be named in the World Cup All-Star XI for that year.

Rodriguez was once tagged as one of the exciting young players in Europe some time ago. Although his preferred role is playing as an attacking midfielder, he can be deployed as a central midfielder, as a supporting striker, and a winger. He is known for his playmaking skills and free-kicks.

He has enjoyed spells in Portuguese club Porto, French club AS Monaco before finally joining up with Real Madrid in the summer of 2014 for a £63 million fee which made him the fourth most expensive football transfer in the world at the time, which was then predicted by several best usa casino websites. He spent three seasons with the Los Blancos before he was sent on loan to Bayern Munich, where he got to play under Carlo Ancelotti.

In September 2020, he signed a two year deal with Premier League club Everton to reunite with Ancelotti one more time. Rodriguez will be the Toffees’ most exciting player to watch this season.

Timo Werner

On the 18th of June, Chelsea acquired the signature of Bundesliga prolific striker Timo Werner. Werner, since his rise to prominence, has always been one of the talented strikers in Europe.

Werner, who began his football career with VfB Stuttgart, has helped RB Leipzig challenge for the Bundesliga title in his four campaigns with them. Tagged as one of the best strikers in the German league only behind Bayern Munich beast Robert Lewandowski.

Timo Werner is well known for his pace and acceleration on the pitch, he is extremely dangerous in front of the goal. Formerly in a league where Lewandowski dominates the goalscoring charts, fans will be excited to see how he fares in a league with Harry Kane, Sergio Aguero, Mohamed Salah, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Allan

Two weeks ago, Everton announced the signing of Brazilian central midfielder Allan in a deal reported to be worth £22 million from Serie A giants Napoli in this summer transfer window. He is expected to play for the club till 2023, while some high payout casinos online offered odds regarding this transfer.

Allan is a central midfielder that is deployed in the defensive mode of the midfield. He is known for his physicality and playmaking skills. He will be the second player to reuniting with Ancelotti at Goodison Park. Allan helped Napoli lift the Coppa Italia in his last season with the club.
