Top wonder kids in FM22

For the ardent Football Manager fans, selecting the young talented players must be a crazy moment. They like to choose and develop the wonder kids who will be the next generation talents in real-world football.

Sure, Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga, Pedri, Nuno Mendes and Josko Gvardiol are phenomenal prospects who mature into some of the absolute best players on FM22. But there are some lesser-known talents who will be used mainly by the FM22 users. Let’s have a look at some of those talents below:

Arsen Zakharyan

Club: Dinamo Moscow

Nationality: Russian

Price: £16 million

Domestically, he is one of the best young players of Dinamo Moscow. As he is in a central attacking midfield role, he can be used in a wide role. Despite his value initially being pegged in the £15 million – £18 million brackets, you can actually get Zakharyan for as little as £6 million if the player becomes unsettled at Dinamo.

Matteo Ruggeri

Club: Salernitana (on loan from Atalanta)

Nationality: Italian

Price: £2.3 million

At a likely cost of barely £2 million, Matteo Ruggeri is another young prospect who represents outstanding value for money.

On loan at Salernitana at the start of FM22, this Atalanta left-back is absolutely worth keeping tabs on or even trying to put a future transfer in place for once that loan spell is up. Only 18 years of age, Ruggeri really starts to mark himself out as a genuine star in the marking.

Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer

Club: Dynamo Dresden

Nationality: German

Price: £800,000

One of the better-known prospects in Football Manager 2022 – and in real life, for that matter – is Red Bull Salzburg’s Karim Adeyemi. While he will likely set you back anything from £15 million to £25 million, a brilliant alternative to Adeyemi is Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer.

The 19-year-old is plying his trade in 2. Bundesliga for Dynamo Dresden, Königsdörffer has many similar attributes to Adeyami but costs next to nothing; he is usually available for less than £1 million.

Wisdom Amey

Club: Bologna

Nationality: Italian

Price: £2 million

Of all of the names featured on this list, Wisdom Amey is the one who needs the most nurturing.

Given the fact that he’s only 15 years of age, there are still so many variables as to whether this Bologna player will genuinely develop into a top, top player or not. If you have bang average coaching staff or don’t give Amey enough game time, he’ll stagnate and become nothing more than a ‘decent’ defender. If you have an excellent coaching setup in place and can make sure Amey gets minutes on the pitch, be that youth football, reserve games or eventually a loan spell elsewhere, then this is someone who can become a beast of a player.
