Analytics: A draw for Venezuela in their home game against Ecuador

Venezuela drew 2-2 (0-1) in their home match against Ecuador in the Copa America group B.

The match was even in terms of goals until Ecuador took the lead in the 39th minute through Ayrton Preciado, who scored a goal, with an assist by Robert Arboleda.

Straight after the break, Edson Castillo scored and equalised for Venezuela.

Gonzalo Plata gave Ecuador the lead in the 71st minute.

The equaliser came in the 90th minute, when Ronald Hernandez scored a goal for Venezuela, with an assist by Edson Castillo. The 2-2 goal was the last goal of the game.

The result brings no change for the teams in terms of league position: Venezuela in third place and Ecuador in fourth.

Venezuela will host Peru on Sunday. Ecuador will face Peru on Wednesday.
