Bayern München defeated FC Köln in Köln in the Bundesliga on Sunday 2-3 (0-0).

With 30 minutes on the clock, FC Köln’s Anthony Modeste scored and plugged one back for FC Köln.

Just two minutes later, with an assist by Kingsley Ehizibue, it was Mark Uth who scored, thus ensuring that the team equalised to make it 2-2.

Serge Gnabry scored the deciding goal in the 71st minute. The 3-2 goal was the last one of the game.

With the win, Bayern München have got their first three points of the season and are on four points. FC Köln are on three points. Both teams have played two games.

The last match between the teams ended in a 5-1 home win for Bayern München in February 2021.

In the next games in the Bundesliga, Bayern München will play Hertha Berlin (home) on 2021-08-28, Red Bull Leipzig (away) on 2021-09-11 and Bochum (home) on 2021-09-18. FC Köln play Bochum (home) on 2021-08-28, Freiburg (away) on 2021-09-11 and Red Bull Leipzig (home) on 2021-09-18.
