Straight after the break, Lyndon Dykes scored and increased the team’s lead.
Queens Park Rangers increased the lead even more as Rob Dickie scored in the 46th minute. This brought the final score to 3-0.
Hull’s George Moncur was sent off in the 71st minute.
Hull are set to face Derby, while Queens Park face Middlesboro. Both games are scheduled for Wednesday.
